Originally developed for pressure relief for astronauts, TEMPUR Material has been continuously refined for optimal sleep. The highest demands on the look & feel and sustainability of the products are reflected in the wide selection of TEMPUR products for good sleep. TEMPUR Pro is the most adaptable TEMPUR ever. The mattress core consists of a completely newly developed TEMPUR Advanced Material, which relieves the body by 20% more, absorbs more movement, and adapts even better. The cover, which is washable at 40 degrees, can be easily removed thanks to the all-around zipper.
The Tempur PRO® Plus SmartCool™ mattress is an all-foam mattress with a 21 cm profile, designed for close body conformity and pressure relief. The Tempur® Advanced Material – based on viscoelastic foam originally developed for NASA – adapts to weight, shape, and body heat, creating a characteristic "hug feel."
However, the pure foam construction may feel less airy for some than hybrid models. The SmartCool cover helps regulate surface warmth, and the QuickRefresh cover is removable via zipper and washable at 40 °C.
