Permobil SmartDrive MX2+ Electric Drive

Many wheelchair users suffer from pain in their upper extremities - but it doesn't have to be this way. Using the Permobil SmartDrive electric drive reduces the strain on arms and shoulders. With SmartDrive support, the number of daily pushes is considerably reduced. This alleviates fatigue and arm pain, making you more independent and increasing your range of motion.

The SmartDrive MX2+ is equipped with "Omni-Wheel" wheels, allowing for every driving maneuver, including turns and 360° rotations. The powerful 250-W motor is equipped with a modern lithium-ion battery.

Operating the SmartDrive is simple and intuitive with the PushTracker Bluetooth wristband:

Starting

• To start, tap the PushTracker wristband against the handrim twice.

Adjusting Speed

• Tap the handrim once to set the speed.

Stopping

• To stop, tap twice again and then brake with your hands.

The compact dimensions of the SmartDrive do not change the size of your wheelchair. For a rigid-frame wheelchair, the SmartDrive can be easily mounted on the axle of your wheelchair. For a folding wheelchair, it is mounted using an included axle that is easily attached between the two drive wheels.
